Slide the splint onto the affected finger so that the proximal pad lies close to the palmar crease, and the distal pad lies close to the distal Inter-Phalangeal (DIP) joint.
Prevention of flexion contracture by keeping finger in extension while allowing Inter-phalangeal flexion.
Boutonniere deformity.
Slight adjustments can be made in degree of extension by bending lateral wires.

Hand wash using cold water and mild soap.
Air dry in shade.
Do not brush hard.
Do not squeeze.
No machine wash.
